Category D driving school prices
Wondering how much category D driving lessons cost? Our prices are listed below, and you can pay in several ways: in full at the start, or in 2 or 3 instalments. Choose whichever suits you best. Lessons taught in English cost an extra 60 lei per lesson.
Tuition fees
The price depends on the licence you already hold.
VAT and fuel are included in the tuition fee.

- Theory training: 72 hours

Enrolment and exam
Requirements, the exam and the minimum age.
Enrolment requirements
- The minimum age to start training is 20 years and 9 months; the exam at the Police can be taken once you turn 21.
- Every student must be medically and psychologically fit to drive.
- The student must not have been convicted of the offences listed in Art. 24 of Emergency Ordinance 195/2002.
- Buletin de identitate / carte de identitate.
Category D driving exam
- The theory test involves a 26-question paper to be completed in 30 minutes; at least 22 correct answers are required to pass.
- The practical test assesses your driving skills and road behaviour, supervised by a DRPCIV examiner.
- Our school provides the vehicle for the practical test, for a fee.
