Category B1
A licence from the age of 16
Category B1 is the licence for quadricycles — small cars that are easy to handle in the city. At Nelit you learn on the XEV YOYO, fully electric, and you can start from the age of 15 years and 9 months. Lessons taught in English cost an extra 60 lei each.

Requirements
From what age you can enrol.
Category B1 is the only one you can start before turning 18.
- The minimum age to start training is 15 years and 9 months; the exam at the Police can be taken once you turn 16.
- A notarised power of attorney from both parents, for students under 18.
- Every student must be medically and psychologically fit to drive.
- Identity card.
